Everything on today's list is open on a Monday. The Orsay and the Pompidou aren't, leave those or skip. A last, unhurried Paris day.

Carry your passport bring both passports and the Louis Vuitton covers for the hot-stamp appointment, and note Sainte-Chapelle has airport-style security (it's inside the courthouse).

Île de la Cité, Sainte-Chapelle at opening (1,113 panels of 13th-century stained glass, go on a bright morning), Notre-Dame (reopened, go in; the crown of thorns is here), the Conciergerie (Marie-Antoinette's cell), the bouquinistes along the Seine.

Lunch in the Latin Quarter, a proper crêpe (its birthplace, per Dr. Trace and Dr. Leticia). See Meals.

Métro to the Arc de Triomphe, walk down the Champs-Élysées, stop at “the Pharmacy” (Le Drugstore) for a croque monsieur and skincare, then Galeries Lafayette, up to the free rooftop terrace for the whole city at sunset and the stained-glass dome inside.

16:00

Pick up the passport covers from Louis Vuitton (La Samaritaine, or wherever you dropped them Saturday). Initials, a foil colour, a small motif, free.

This is a pickup, not the stamping itself, Paris quotes ~48 hours so the covers went in on Sat Oct 24. If a store confirmed same-day service instead, this is where it happens. Never the Champs-Élysées flagship walk-in queue (1-2 hrs). London backup: Selfridges or New Bond Street.

03Evening

A drink on the terrace at Les Deux Magots in Saint-Germain (skip Café de Flore next door). Then the last Paris dinner. See Meals.

Little Breizh (crêperie) or Le Comptoir du Relais

Dr. Trace & Dr. Leticia Little Breizh does the best galettes in the Latin Quarter, organic buckwheat, artisan fillings. Le Comptoir is Yves Camdeborde's bistro, a Saint-Germain classic (lunch is walk-in and reasonable).

Order: A galette with andouille and onion confit, a sweet crêpe with salted caramel, a bolée of cider.

Skip going up the Arc (€16 each) Galeries Lafayette's rooftop is free, higher, and looks at the Arc and the tower. If you're making the big purchase, do it at a smaller boutique in Saint-Germain (not the flagship, hours of queue) and make sure they hand you the tax-free form there. You validate it tomorrow at the PABLO kiosk in the Eurostar terminal at Gare du Nord, not at any airport.
