Arrive, drop into the Marriott and its lounge, then take a gentle walk through Saint-Germain for a booked 17:00 Louis Vuitton consultation. Keep dinner optional and the rest of the day deliberately light.
Download before you leave the hotel the Marriott Bonvoy app, signed in, with mobile check-in done for the Rive Gauche (you can start it the night before from Rome). It gives a digital room key so you can go straight up when you land. Details under Apps to download.

Take a hotel-door licensed taxi from Santa Prassede to Fiumicino. Ask the 24-hour hotel desk to arrange it the night before and confirm the €55 flat fare. Allow 40-50 minutes driving plus traffic buffer; aim for about 07:15 at FCO, well over two hours before the 10:10 flight. No station walk with luggage. If the car has not arrived promptly, call reception for the backup.

Open 04:30-21:30. This is a real Priority Pass lounge, above average: hot and cold food, not just a buffet of sandwiches, plus coffee and soda machines, alcohol is pay extra. Note the lounge's own 2-hour max-stay policy. Clear security first; the available lounge time depends on traffic and airport queues. Leave by 09:35-09:40, that still leaves real time to spare for the gate.

After landing
Orly (ORY) is the Paris airport where your Rome flight lands, not an app or a company. After collecting bags, follow the airport's Taxi signs to the official taxi queue outside arrivals. Join the queue, tell the dispatcher or licensed driver Paris Marriott Rive Gauche, 17 boulevard Saint-Jacques, Paris, and confirm the regulated Left Bank fare of €36 for the car, not per person. Pay the driver at the end. This direct regulated fare beats the uncertainty of a fixed-time arrival Uber with possible waiting charges; do not prebook an arrival car or find a city bus. Ignore anyone offering a ride inside the terminal.
No advance pickup is needed when your arrival time can vary. The Metro 14 to Line 6 transfer remains a backup, but it means carrying bags through a station change and a hotel walk. Buy the Navigo all-zone weekly passes (~€32.40 each, valid through Sunday) only when you are ready for your first city transit ride, not specifically for the airport trip. Official 2026 taxi fare.

Confirm that the store will stamp both, what it costs, and an exact collection time that fits before departure. Its advertised 48-hour lead time is not a pickup promise. Do not leave the covers without an agreed return plan. This is the only Paris LV appointment.

house pick A bouillon is a 1900s workers' canteen, paper tablecloths, waiters who write your order on the cloth, a three-course meal for ~€25. Chartier's own site is explicit: no reservations, ever, first-come queue only, open 365 days 11:30-midnight. Go early or off-peak to keep the wait short. If the queue's too long, Le Petit Saint-Benoît (Saint-Germain, does take bookings, closed Sundays) is the fallback.
Order: Escargots de Bourgogne (garlic-parsley butter, the dish most diners cite), confit de canard for a real protein plate, or the bœuf bourguignon, a baba au rhum. Wine-only here, no cocktail list, a light Beaujolais by the glass suits the duck.

After the booked Transavia flight and hotel bag drop, the gentle Saint-Germain walk leads to the store; 19:30 dinner remains optional. No separate Oct26 La Samaritaine appointment was made or is being sought. Existing-cover eligibility, price, service duration and collection time are unconfirmed. Do not leave the covers without a practical pickup plan before departure.

Arrive in Paris in the afternoon and rest the first day. If you wreck yourself sightseeing straight off the plane you lose two days, not one. The lounge is free with your status, use it for dinner tonight if you want.

The RER from the airport with luggage, stairs everywhere, pickpocket-heavy. Métro Line 14 (change at Bercy for Line 6), or a flat-fare taxi. The old Orlybus no longer runs.
